Appointment of Licensing Officer - The State Government may -

  1. (a) appoint an officer not below the rank of Divisional Forest Officer to be the Licensing Officer for the purpose of this Act.
  2. (b) define the local limits within which a Licensing Officer shall exercise the powers and perform the duties conferred and imposed upon the Licensing Officer by or under this Act.
