Amendment of section 4

In section 4 of the principal Act, for sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:–– “(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the posts borne on temporary organisations created for specified works or projects, other than the work charged establishment shall be treated as posts in the Union territory Cadre concerned for purposes of recruitment only.”.
