The He Super Clays and Minerals Mining Company (Private) Limited (Acquisition of Undertakings) Act, 1983
This Act provides for the acquisition and transfer of the undertakings of the Super Clays and Minerals Mining Company (Private) Limited. The legislation was enacted because the company had ceased production of china clay, a material essential to the state's economy, and was unable to pay its workers. To protect public interests and ensure the continued supply of this vital resource, the government takes over the company's assets and operations. By vesting these undertakings in the state, the Act aims to resolve the crisis, restore employment, and guarantee that the production and distribution of china clay remain uninterrupted for the benefit of the general public.
