Statutory text

(1) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint a peison who is or is qualified to be appointed, a Munsiff to be the Rent Control Couit foi such local areas as may be specified therein.
(2) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint any Officer not below the rank of a Tahsildai to be the Accommodation Conti oiler for any area to which this Act applies.
(3) The Accommodation Controller shall exercise his powcis and pcifoim his functions subject to such general directions as the Government may issue.
