Functions of the Board

Functions of the Board.—The Board shall perform the following functions, namely:—

1. (a) rendering guidelines in the matters relating to administration, management, preservation and use of public records;
2. (b) formulating guidelines for imparting training to Records Officers and employees of State Archives Department;
3. (c) providing necessary directions for acquisition of records from private sources;
4. (d) deal with such other matters as may be prescribed.
