Seizure of expired or counterfeit badge

Any officer of the local authority duly empowered in that behalf by the registering authority or any Police officer may seize and take away any expired or counterfeit badge, or any badge in respect of which an offence under section 28 has been committed, wheresoever the same may be found, and deliver the same to the registering authority.
