Short title, extent and commencement

(1) This Act may be called the Banavasi Development Authority Act, 2018. (2) It extends to the area Banavasi of Sirsi Taluk of Uttara Kannada District as defined in clause (c) of section 2. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act.
