The Registrar of Examinations

(1) The Registrar of Examinations, shall be appointed in such manner on such emoluments and other conditions of service and as may be prescribed by the statutes. (2) The Registrar of Examination shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed by the statutes. Notwithstanding anything containing in clause - 11 but subject to the rules and orders issued by the State Government from time to time for reservation of appointments and posts for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes, appointments to the posts of Readers and Professors in University institutions and departments may be made by the Board of Management in accordance with a promotion scheme, if any, prescribed by statutes made in this behalf, if the University institution or department has both Under-Graduate and Post Graduate Courses.
