Licences may be cancelled if the licensee dies or becomes insolvent or for other reasons determined by the government. (1) Whenever the authority granting the licence considers that it should be cancelled for any cause other than those specified in section 45, he may cancel the licence either,— (a) on the expiration of not less than fifteen days’ notice in writing of his intention to do so; or (b) forthwith without notice after recording his reasons in writing for doing so.
