Statutory text
Ships may be issued licences to possess and serve foreign liquor. The State Government, or, subject to its control, the Deputy Commissioner or any other officer authorised by rules or an order in writing by the State Government, may grant licences to any shipping company for each ship or to the master of any ship to sell foreign liquor and permit the use and consumption of foreign liquor on such ship on such conditions as may be prescribed.
