Betterment contribution

If at any time any amount is levied or imposed by the Government on a land held by a permanent tenant as betterment contribution under the provisions of the Karnataka Irrigation (Levy of Betterment Contribution and Water Rate) Act, 1957, or under any other provision of law, the permanent tenant thereof shall be liable to pay such amount to the Government.
