Registrar

1) The Registrar shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Sponsoring Body in accordance with the provisions indicated in the Statutes. The Registrar shall hold the qualifications prescribed by the University Grants Commission. 2) The Registrar shall have the power to authenticate records, documents on behalf of the University, sign certificates, and enter into agreements, and shall exercise such other powers and perform such functions as indicated for them. 3) The Registrar shall be the ex-officio Member Secretary of the Executive Council and Academic Council but shall not have the right to vote.
