- (1) Any District Judge may be suspended or removed from office by 2[the Government of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir] on the report of the High Court. 1[(2) Any Subordinate Judge or Munisff may be suspended from office by the High Court subject to the confirmation of 2[the Government of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir] or removed from office by 2[the Government of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir] on the report of the High Court.]
