Bar to enforcement of Act against public settlement or legal directions by deceased

This Act shall not be put in force to contravene any public act of settlement, neither in cases in which the deceased proprietor shall have given legal directions for the possession of his property after his decease in the such case, so soon as the judge having jurisdiction over the property or a deceased person shall be satisfied of the existence of such directions, he shall give effect thereof.
