Exemptions Exemptions.-- Exemptions from patrol duty may be granted--

  1. (a) by the District Magistrate; or
  2. (b) by the committee subject to confirmation by the District Magistrate.

  7. 9The District Magistrate may delegate to any Magistrate of the first class all or any of his powers under section 4, 6 or 7 of this Act.

  9. 11The decision of the majority of the members of a committee shall be deemed to be the decision of the committee.

  11. 13An appeal from an order of the District Magistrate under section 3 or section 11 shall lie to the Government.
