The Jammu and Kashmir State Evacuees, (Administration of Property), (Validation of Orders, Proceedings and Acts) Act, 1958

This Act may be called the dammu and Kashmir State Evacuees' (Lfdministra~tion of Property) (Valids- tion of Orders, Proceedings and Acts) Act; 1958.

Notwithstanding anything contained jn any law or judgement, decree or order of any Court, all orders made, proceedings taken and acts done by S. Pritam Singh as Special Revenue Officer, Rajovri and Settlement Officer, Poonch, purporting t o act as Additional Custodian in the District Poonch, Jammu, during the periods corn- mencing from the date of his appointment as Special Revenue Officer, Rajouri, and ending with the date of the publication qf Cabinet Order No. 1430-C of 1955 dated 22nd September. 1955, and commencing with the date of his appointrent a s Settlement 0%-cer. Pconch and ending with the date of publication of Cabinet Order No. 1355-C of 1956 dated 4Lh August, 1956, shall bc deemed to be and alwass to ksve been validly mad^. taken or done and for the purposes of the Jammu and Kashmir Stlate Evacuees' (Administration of Propertv) Act, 2006 and of any other law for the time being in force, all such orders proceedings and acts shall be as good and valid as if a notification specially empower- ing the said Officer to exercise such powers as aforesaid had been issued by the Government under section 4 of the aforesaid A d .
