Forfeiture of newspapers and publications containing prize competitions.--Where any newspaper contains any prize competition promoted or conducted in contravention of the provisions of this Act or except in accordance with the provisions of a licence under this Act or any rules made thereunder, the Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette, declare every copy of such newspaper and the publication containing such prize competition to be forfeited to the Government.
