Property and Finance

Property and finances of the Block Development Council. -

1. (1) Block Development Council shall have the powers to acquire, hold or dispose of property and enter into a contract in accordance with the law in force.
2. (2) For every Block Development Council, there shall be constituted a 'Block Development Council Fund' comprising grants made by the Government having due regard to the number of Panchayat Halqas in a Block and the revenues assigned by the District Planning and Development Board.
