5. Restriction on the sale of furniture in any house or shop let to a tenant.

Statutory text
No person shall make the purchase or hiring of any furniture in any house or shop a condition of the grant, renewal or continuance of a tenancy of such house or shop of which he is the landlord to the tenant of such house or shop, except under a permit in the prescribed form from the Controller and such permit shall not be given unless the price or hire is reasonable.
