A. Prohibition against resale of tickets.-(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 55 of the Jammu and Kashmir Easements Act, Samvat 1977, a ticket for admission to an entertainment shall not be resold for profit by the purchaser thereof.

  1. (2) Whoever resells any ticket for admission to an entertainment for profit shall be punishable with a fine not exceeding rupees two hundred.
  2. (3) The offence under this section shall be tried summarily notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section
  3. (2) of section 23.
