Functions of the Commission.

The Commission shall discharge

the following functions, namely:—

1. (a) enforce the decisions and orders issued under the Act;
2. (b) adjudicate upon the disputes regarding water cess;
3. (c) ensure transparency while exercising the powers and discharging its functions;
4. (d) establish a system of enforcement, monitoring and measurement of water drawn for hydropower generation; and
5. (e) such other functions as may be prescribed.
