Constitution of the Board.- (1) The Board shall consist of the

Chairman, the Vice-Chairman and the following members, namely:- I. Ex-officio Members:

1. (i) one representative of the Ministry for the time being dealing with technical education in the Government of India;
2. (ii) one representative of the Nothern Regional Committee of All India Council of Technical Education;
3. (iii) the Secretary (Technical Education) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh;
4. (iv) the Secretary (Finance) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh;
5. (v) theLabour Commissioner, Himachal Pradesh;
6. (vi) the Director of Industries, Himachal Pradesh;
7. (vii) the Registrar, HimachalPradeshUniversity;
8. (viii) the Principal, RegionalEngineeringCollege, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh; II. Elected Members:
9. (ix) two persons elected by the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha from amongst its members in the manner prescribed by the Speaker. III. Nominated Members: (to be nominated by the State Government)
10. (x) one Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department, Himachal Pradesh Government;
11. (xi) one Chief Engineer, Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board;
12. (xii) two industrialists;
13. (xiii) one Principal of Polytechnics in the State;
14. (xiv) one Principal of Industrial Training Institutes in the State;
15. (xv) one member to secure representation of such interests as are not otherwise represented;
