The Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Members (Removal of Disqualifications) (Amendment) Act, 1979

1. (1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Members (Removal of Disqualifications) (Amendment) Act, 1979.
2. (2) It shall come into force at once.

In the existing section 3 of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Members (Removal of Disqualifications) Act, 1971 (7 of 1971),—

1. (i) the sign "." occurring at the end of clause

1. (r) shall be substituted by the sign ";"; and
   • (ii) after clause
2. (r) so amended, the following clauses shall be added, namely:— " notwithstanding anything contained in clauses
3. (l) and
4. (m) of this section, the office of member of the Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes appointed by the Government of India."
