Deposit of security by the proprietor

The prescribed authority may, in the manner prescribed, require the proprietor of an entertainment to deposit as security for payment of entertainments duty under this Act, an amount not exceeding ten thousand rupees in a Government treasury, and the same shall be so deposited.
