Abetment of offences under section 3

Whoever being a Head of educational institution or an officer, directly or primarily in-charge of supervision for the proper maintenance of discipline in the educational institution, knowingly omits to check and report or connives or abets the commission of the offence under section 3, shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine which may extend to twenty five thousand rupees, or with both.
