Short title and commencement

(1) This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Educational Institutions (Prohibition of Ragging) Act, 2009. 1. Passed in Hindi by the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha. For Statement of Objects and Reasons see the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh, dated 18th August, 2009, pp. 2605 and 2609.

1. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on 25th day of March, 2009.
