Meeting of the Committee

(1) Committee shall meet for the transaction of its business at least once in three months provided that the committee may in special circumstances meet at any time and at any place in the market area. (2) The Chairman shall preside over meetings of the Committee and if he is absent, the Vice-Chairman shall preside over meeting of the Committee and if at any meeting both the Chairman and Vice- Chairman are absent, such one of the members present in the meeting as may be chosen by the members present may act as a Chairman. (3) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Committee shall conduct its business as may be prescribed.
