Vacancy of member owing to absence without permission

If a member nominated or appointed to the Board or Governing Council remains absent without permission of the Board or Governing Council from three consecutive meetings thereof, his office shall thereupon become vacant and shall be so declared by the Chairman of the Board or Governing Council, as the case may be.
