(See section 18) FORM OF OATH/ AFFIRMATION I _____________, do swear / solemnly affirm that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to India and to the Constitution of India as by law established, that I will uphold the sovereignty and integrity of India and that I will carry out the duties of my office with loyalty, honestly and impartiality. ‘So help me God’ (Conscientious objectors of oath taking may make a solemn affirmation in the form indicated above) Name and designation of the officer undertaking the oath / affirmation.
