Terms of office and conditions of service

(1) Every member shall hold office during the pleasure of the Government. (2) The conditions of service of the members shall be such as may be prescribed. (3) The salary and allowances to the members shall be paid out of the fund. (4) A member may at any time resign his office by submitting his resignation to the Government: Provided that the resignation shall not take effect until it is accepted.
