Short title extent and commencement

(1) This Act may the called the Punjab Agricultural Produce markets Act, 1961. (2) It extends to the State of Punjab & Haryana, the territories transferred to the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh under section 5 of the Punjab Reorganisation Act, 1966 (31 of 1966) and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
