Duties of competent authority

The competent authority for the purposes of this Act shall perform the following duties, namely:-

1. (i) monitor the execution of schemes in the municipality;
2. (ii) monitor the record of revenue generation and expenses by the town vending committee;
3. (iii) resolve any discrepancy which arises within the town vending committee;
4. (iv) call a joint meeting within every six months with the town vending committee.
