Constituency allowance

Statutory text
Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, there shall be paid to each member a constituency allowance of eight thousand rupees per mensem or as may be prescribed.
Explanation.— For the purposes of this section a member shall include the Chief Minister, a Minister, a Minister of State, a Deputy Minister, the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker, the Chief Parliamentary Secretary and a Parliamentary Secretary.
