The officer-in-charge, if deem necessary that re-postmortem of the dead body is required then after recording the reasons in writing, may send the dead body for re-post-mortem.

Obligation of hospital administration for storage of dead body The hospital administration shall-

1. (a) ensure that the dead body is stored under safe conditions in the deep freezer to prevent any decay or damage; and
2. (b) ensure that the dead body is kept in a dignified manner.
