In section 29 of the principal Act, after the figures "1926" the words "or as the case may be, that Code as adapted and applied to the Saurashtra area of the State" shall be inserted.

Amendment of section 53B of Bom. LXI of 1947 In section 53B of the principal Act, in subsection (2),-

1. (i) after the figures "1923", the words and figures "or under the Saurashtra Primary Education Act, 1956" shall be inserted; and
2. (ii) after words "in that Act", the words "in the relevant area" shall be inserted.
