This Act may be called the Gujarat Short Titles (Amendment) Act, 2011.

Definition 2. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, the words "Bombay Act" mean the Act enacted by a competent legislature or other competent authority before 1st May, 1960 for the State of Bombay or, as the case may be, the Province of Bombay and in force in the State of Gujarat on the commencement of this Act.
