Recovery of rent, etc., as an arrear of land revenue. If any person refuses or fails to pay the damages payable under sub-section

1. (1) of section 7 or the rent payable under the agreement referred to in section 4 or the damages or costs awarded to the State Government or the corporate authority under this Act, within the time specified in the order in respect of the payment thereof, the estate officer may issue a certificate for the amount due to the Collector who shall proceed to recover the same as an arrear of land revenue.
