The powers and duties of the said board

The powers and duties of the said board shall be as follows, namely;— (a) to examine and recommend schemes for the organization, co-ordination and expansion of primary education and for the correlation of primary education with the system of education as a whole in the area to which this Act extends; (b) to advise the State Government generally on all matters connected with primary education; (c) to exercise such other powers and to perform soon other duties as may be prescribed.
