Prohibition of appearance before Authority etc. on ceasing to be a member

A person who ceases to be a member shall not --

1. (a) be entitled to appear for a period of three years in any proceedings before the Authority as a representative of any person from the date of such cesser;
2. (b) acquire either directly or indirectly any financial or other interest of the nature specified in clause
3. (g) of section 9 for a period of two years from the date of such cesser;
4. (c) accept employment in a company or its subsidiary, which carries on the business of transmission or distribution, for a period of three years from the date of such cesser. Explanation.—For the purpose of this clause, the expression 'company' shall have the same meaning as assigned to it in clause
5. (a) of Explanation to section 36.
