Academic Council.

(1) The Academic Council of the University shall consist of the following members, namely:-

(i) the Director of the University, ex-officio, who shall be the Chairman of the Academic Council; (ii) one eminent academician and one eminent professional to be nominated by the Board; (iii) one external eminent academician and one eminent professional to be nominated by the Director; (iv) two deans of the University by rotation to be nominated by the Director; (v) one Professor from each discipline of the University by rotation to be nominated by the Director; and (vi) the Registrar who shall be the non-member Secretary of the Council;

(2) The term of office of the members other than the ex-officio member shall be three years.
