Gujarat Contingency Fund Temporary Increase Act 1972

1. (1) This Act may be called the Gujarat Contingency Fund (Temporary Increase) Act, 1993.
2. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st December, 1992.

Notwithstanding anything contained in section 2 of the Gujarat Contingency Fund Act, 1960, the extent of the sum of fifty crores of rupees specified in section 2 of the said Act as the sum to be paid into the Contingency Fund of the State of Gujarat shall, during the period beginning from the commencement of this Act and ending on the 31st March, 1993, be raised to seventy-five crores of rupees.

The Gujarat Contingency Fund (Temporary Increase) Ordinance, 1992 is hereby repealed.
