Management of market yards, sub-market yards, Farmers/Consumer/Market and

Private Market.— (1) In every market area, there may be:—

1. (i) market yard managed by the Marketing Board;
2. (ii) one or more than one sub-market yards managed by the Marketing Board;
3. (iii) one or more than one private market yards/private markets managed by a person other than the Marketing Board;
4. (iv) one or more than one farmer's/consumer's markets managed by a person other than the Marketing Board.

1. (2) The Government shall, as soon as may be, after the issue of notification under section 4, by notification, declare any specified place including any structure, enclosure, open place, or locality in the market area to be a market yard or sub-market yard, as the case may be.
