Statutory text
Certain offences to be cognizable.— Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), offences punishable,—
- (a) under section 43 for contravening the provisions of section 5; and
- (b) under section 42, shall be cognizable.
