Certain portion of land acquired by the Government for housing to be utilised on co-operative principles

Where the Government or any development authority under its control acquires any land for the purpose of housing, then, having regard to the purposes of such acquisition and all other relevant factors in this behalf, the Government shall endeavor to utilise, at least one-third portion of the land so acquired, on co-operative principles for the said purpose.
