This Act amends the law concerning the salaries, allowances, and pensions for Members of the Legislative Assembly in Delhi. It removes an existing section and substitutes a new one that permits MLAs to obtain a repayable advance of up to sixty thousand rupees for purchasing a conveyance. Furthermore, the legislation empowers the government to make rules for these benefits, subject to approval by the Legislative Assembly, which retains the power to modify or annul those rules after a specific review period.
