1. Short title and commencement
Statutory text
Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Industrial Disputes (Delhi Amendment) Act, 2003.
- (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
2. Amendment of section 2A of Central Act 14 of 1947
Statutory text
Amendment of section 2A of Central Act 14 of 1947.—In section 2A of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal Act"), the following proviso shall be added, namely:— " Provided that any such dispute or difference between a workman and his employer connected with, or arising out of, such retrenchment, dismissal, discharge or termination shall be deemed to be an industrial dispute notwithstanding that no other workman nor any union of workmen is a party to the dispute."
