Penalties

(i) section 5, 6 or 10 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to Rs. 100 and in case of second or subsequent offence, shall be punishable with a minimum fine of Rs. 200, but which may extend to Rs. 500; (ii) section 7, 8 or 9 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to Rs. 500 and in case of second or subsequent offence, shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to three months, or with a minimum fine of Rs. 500, but which may extend to Rs. 1000, or with both.
