Matters not subject to inquiry

The Lokayukta or an Upalokayukta shall not inquire into any matter: - (a) which has been referred to inquiry under the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of 1952); or (b) relating to an allegation against a public functionary, if the complaint is made after expiration of a period of five years from the date on which the conduct complained against is alleged to have been committed.
