Archaeological Advisory Council

Statutory text
- (1) The Government may constitute an Advisory Board to be called Delhi Archaeological Advisory Council (hereinafter referred to as the Advisory Council) for the purpose of advising the Government on matters of policy relating to the field of archaeology in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. (2) The Advisory Council shall be constituted by the Government and shall consist of a Chairman who will be Minister of Education, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi and Director of the Department of Archaeology of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi will be Member Secretary and 16 members to be nominated by the Government for a period of two years and further subject to any rules made under this Act.
