Power of Government to give directions to Board

Statutory text
The Government may give the Board such directions as in their opinion are necessary or expedient in connection with expenditure from the Fund or for carrying out the purposes of the Act and it shall be the duty of the Board to comply with such directions. Every meeting of the Board shall be presided over by the Chairman or if the Chairman is, for any reasons, unable to attend it, by such one of the members present as may be chosen by the meeting to be Chairman for the occasion.
